Retiring in your 60s is becoming less feasible, with 75 being the new 65. Working longer may actually be beneficial as inactivity can lead to health issues like Alzheimer's. Retirement does not necessarily mean not working but doing what you choose to do. Working on something you enjoy is different from working out of necessity, making work more fulfilling. The speaker feels more fulfilled working rather than retiring as doing nothing can quickly lead to boredom.
