The Evolution of Boardroom Governance

The digital director's network was created due to the realization of a competency and skill gap in corporate boards, especially in areas like cybersecurity and data. The organization's origin can be traced back to the introduction of financial expertise in corporate boards, driven by Sarban's Oxley, which was necessary to maintain confidence in the financial reporting system and prevent the collapse of capital markets.
