The influence of every user collectively was a major force that couldn't be shaped through algorithmic, technological or top-down means./nThe combination of the human and the machine component has led us to where we are today./nMachines by themselves could not create the world we exist in today./nThe constant feedback loop of reacting and shaping and spreading and forwarding with machines has led to out of control behaviors that make these systems feel more organic and ecological./nThese systems feel more like the weather than traditional technological networks.
