The Russell Moore Show
Trust Expertise
Integrity, competence, and humility are essential when evaluating sources of information. It is important to seek out individuals with deep expertise and credible credentials rather than succumbing to the trend of dismissing experts as elitists. Without this expertise, individuals risk being misled. Social media often amplifies voices lacking genuine knowledge, leading to the spread of misinformation. Credentials such as an MD do not guarantee trustworthiness, as evidenced by some healthcare professionals who propagated COVID disinformation for profit. Rely on established scientific consensus and be cautious of those claiming unique insights that challenge mainstream understanding, as they may have ulterior motives.
