Salvation is a journey, not just a moment

Salvation is not just a past event but an ongoing process that involves believing in Jesus' work for us, accepting him as Savior and Lord, and becoming a disciple. Emphasizing a salvation moment alone can lead to a shallow understanding of salvation and the possibility of receiving Jesus' life without truly following him. Salvation is a seed planted in us that requires cultivation and effort to reach its full potential. Following Jesus involves active labor but in an upside-down way where wearing his yoke makes the burden lighter and brings rest. Discipline and freedom are not opposites but partners on the path of salvation.
