The city of Harkiv faced significant population loss during the war, but has shown resilience with around 1.3 million people returning. Although the city is relatively calm now, some individuals and businesses are contemplating leaving. The sentiment of wanting to see the city of Belgared raised from the earth is not uncommon amongst the residents, reflecting a strong negative feeling towards it due to the missile launches.

Since the invasion began, Ukraine's second city has suffered a third of all aerial attacks. The latest one has been especially gruelling.
