Recognition and Remembrance

A marine remembers and acknowledges the name of Riuki Yanegara, a lieutenant in the special landing forces he had killed in World War II. Despite the struggle in remembering many names of people, the marine recalls and considers it dreadful to know the name of someone he had killed. The marine even placed an ad to share information on Yanegara, showing a sense of recognition and remembrance.
