NOTE

Optimal Sleep Duration and Latency Metrics

The optimal sleep duration for most individuals seems to be around nine hours, although there is variability with some needing less or more. Conversations with sleep experts consistently point to nine hours as a good benchmark. In terms of sleep latency, ideally falling asleep should take between five to 15 minutes. A latency of under five minutes may indicate insufficient sleep, while longer latencies suggest sub-optimal sleep routines or external factors hindering sleep onset like excessive caffeine, late-night rigorous exercise, or other habits.
