The Old Testament Commands
The Old Testament commands are kind of like the tutor to grow you and mature you. When you're two years old, go to bed at 7 p.m., that's a great command from mom or dad. But when you're 25, it's not quite as helpful. And then there are other commands that are forever. It takes wisdom to know the difference. You don't just pick and choose the ones you like and dislike. As a follower of Jesus, we just make the decision our interpretive key goes by the name of Jesus.
