The Good Shepherd Has Gone Ahead Of You
Jesus, as the good shepherd, has already been where you are going. Shepherds scout elevated places called tables for suitable grazing and predators. In Psalm 23, the shepherd prepares a table in the presence of enemies, symbolizing Jesus' preparation of safe places for you. He handles threats before they reach you. Like the Good Year blimp at a parade, Jesus sees your past, present, and future simultaneously. Therefore, do not fear life's challenges, for Jesus has already experienced and prepared for them, ensuring great comfort and confidence in difficult times.
