Accepting corporate PAC money inherently compromises a politician's integrity, as it creates a dependency and influence that can lead to corruption over time. While it's possible to find individuals who can resist such temptations, the general expectation is that most will ultimately conform to the demands that come with the funding. The gradual erosion of integrity, rather than an immediate loss, is the more concerning outcome when politicians accept these funds.
