Contrary to aggression, which seeks to dominate and control, assertiveness allows individuals to occupy their own space while respecting others' autonomy. Achieving a balance between assertiveness and respect for others' freedom is challenging and requires effort. Ultimately, success hinges more on being assertive than aggressive, as sustained motivation from aggression is fleeting.
