Family growing up
Each of the kids has their own entrepreneurial spirit, encouraged by their mother. The oldest brother started small companies, which were then grown into larger ones by the author. The mother always supported their endeavors, allowing them to try new things like building a solar system in the house, even if it caused a leak. The author was even allowed to take a train to New York to sell leather belts as a child. The mother believed in learning through trial and error, and the author sees this as a valuable gift.
