Approach to Understanding Consciousness Theories

There is significant disagreement and uncertainty surrounding theories of consciousness, ranging from very demanding to undemanding ones. Rather than presupposing a particular theory as correct, it is advisable to consider multiple theories, identify overlaps, and distribute credences reasonably across them. This approach, termed as 'theory light,' helps in making policy decisions without assuming the accuracy of a single theory of consciousness.
