Diverse Views on Religion and Spirituality

In the United States, the fastest-growing religion is considered spiritual, but not religious. Many of these individuals have a unique concept of God as the spirit of nature or general love, being agnostic or uncertain. Hardcore atheists make up less than 15% of the population. The spiritual, but not religious, and agnostics constitute a significant portion, indicating a diverse belief system among the population. While there are traditional views of God with multiple gods, including an Abrahamic view, there is a common belief in a higher power across Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, known as the people of the book.
