Having a religious identity as a pillar of one's identity and decision-making leads to being a true contrarian and very disagreeable. Wrestling with deep questions from an early age and constantly being told that one is wrong cultivates the ability to confidently hold unpopular beliefs. This makes it easier to assert hard decisions in a boardroom or challenge popular opinions in investment decisions. Being a religious person in 2023 cultivates disagreeableness, which is a useful trait in the corporate world.
