They faced issues with payment transfers, leading to multiple Venmo accounts being shut down. Initially, they acquired users by physically visiting neighborhoods and distributing flyers. To make the flyers more appealing, they attached a dollar bill to each one, enticing people to read them as a way to earn their first dollar on the platform.
