Interlipids and Toxicity
The use of lower doses of medication can still be effective in treating patients. Administering interlipids to a patient who lost consciousness and had a small seizure may not always be necessary, but due to the potential alteration of central nervous system activity, it can be considered a form of toxicity. Therefore, giving interlipids could be beneficial without much risk. Understanding the nerves such as the lateral and medial anti-brakeal cutaneous nerves is important for procedures that require nerve blocks without general anesthesia.
