Beware the Metastasis of Ideologies
Capitalism is often misrepresented through a naive and counterproductive lens that overlooks its fundamental aspects. Marxism, with its narrative of oppression, gave rise to postmodernism, which expanded this narrative to encompass a wide array of perceived power differentials. This includes dimensions such as ableism, attractiveness, and even imaginary constructs like gender, while notably minimizing economic disparities. The result is a pervasive and distorted interpretation of social dynamics, effectively a more convoluted version of Marxism that generates a broader framework of grievances based on power relations.
