To let Jesus' death become a stand-in for my own death and his resurrection become my hope in life. Trusting in this hope, I am now conscripted into the counter Babylon, living according to the ethic of Jesus and the apostles. It is the only reasonable response after believing in Jesus as the Lord who died for my sins. Using the weapon of Babylon to live in this world is a subhuman, deathly way of existing.
