Conspiracy to Perverting the Course of Justice
An informant revealed that one of the officers instructed him to plant evidence on a suspect and offered to pay for a stolen car. The officer wanted to catch the suspect in the act of taking parts from the car. The informant was told by the officer to say 'no comment' if arrested to be released and that police would cover the fine. The informant also mentioned that the officer intended to make the arrest appear legitimate.
