* VO2 Max test*

To determine your VO2 max, the best method is to have a laboratory test done. However, if you don't have access to one, you can do a 12 minute sprint or a one mile walk test. The 12 minute sprint involves running as fast as you can for 12 minutes and recording the distance. The one mile walk test involves walking a mile while recording the time and heart rate. These tests will estimate your VO2 max and are useful if you are unable to do a laboratory test.
