After a while, they recommend returning the equipment that hasn't been returned. They had an amnesty and received many items, including crutches and walking sticks. The amnesty was a promise of no prosecution or prison sentence if people returned their weapons or tools. Even if someone returned a Zimmer frame years later, they would not go to prison. Unfortunately, many people were mistakenly imprisoned.
