NOTE

The Power of Organisms and Simulations

The organism approximates a function that allows it to behave like a person and interact in the social world. It creates a simulation of this interaction, which is different from reality but still useful. The simulation imitates the same causal structure but uses a different substrate. For example, a computer game can imitate the dynamics of shooting a gun without recreating the real-world physics. This allows players to make different moves and experience the causal structure in a simulated environment.
