Military personnel are often more dismissive of the idea of Asia for the Asiatics and Japanese leading Asian independence than Japanese intellectuals, citizens, or soldiers. People on both sides of wars often believe they are fighting for just reasons, evidenced by daggers emblazoned with the phrase 'God is with us.'
