The influence of Soviet education on approximately 100,000 young people from Third World countries who received scholarships in the 70s and 80s, has led to a significant number of them becoming presidents, heads of state, prime ministers, foreign ministers, celebrities, lawmakers, and journalists in their respective countries. These leaders were exposed to Russian narratives and rhetoric during their time studying in the Soviet Union, shaping and influencing their perspectives and decision-making processes in their roles today.
