Visual Breaks for Eye Health
Regular breaks for outdoor activities such as walking, bird watching, and scanning the horizon can significantly benefit eye health by allowing the eyes to focus on objects in the distance. Simply glancing out of a window may not be effective if peripheral vision is crowded by indoor surroundings. It is recommended to have children take breaks to walk the dog or sit outside to look at faraway objects to prevent eye strain and promote good vision.
