Providing players with answers can hinder emergent decision-making by removing key triggers and cues. Constraints are crucial in creating affordances for players to take action. Affordances are viewed as opportunities for action, such as moving the ball early in a football game. By constraining the environment, like providing overloads, players are encouraged to engage with these affordances, although not obligated to act on them every time.
