Lessons from a Minimalist and Adventure Photographer's Upbringing
Growing up in a large family taught the photographer valuable lessons in minimalism and resourcefulness, which influenced his later choice to live as a hippie with very few possessions. His interest in photography stemmed from a time when it was not popular and was an expensive, complex process. This instilled in him an appreciation for the art and the value of each photo taken, considering the high cost associated with it in the past.
