The Shift in the American Dream
I am truly grateful for the opportunity given to me and appreciate the supportive environment that allowed me to make the most of it. This opportunity would have been very different if I had stayed in my previous country. However, I have noticed a shift in which it is becoming more difficult for the average American to achieve the American dream. The mentality has changed from abundance to scarcity, and it feels like the pie is not getting bigger for everyone. Unfortunately, the rising tide no longer lifts all boats.
