The creators of the show 'Billions' say that Showtime has ultimate authority over how many seasons the show will have. However, they don't want to stop making the show and it seems that Showtime doesn't want to stop either. They believe that television allows them to tell the kinds of stories they like to make, as movies are becoming harder to produce and people are more inclined to watch streaming platforms.
