Leadership's Failure Breeds Resilience

The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) leadership has historically struggled with preparedness and effective political strategy, failing to engage external opinion and adequately represent its constituents. While acknowledging that dynamic leaders were targeted by Israeli forces, the overall impact of PLO leadership has been deemed unimpressive. Despite this, the resilience of the Palestinian national movement persists, as evidenced by the continuity of memory and identity among younger generations, countering the notion that they would forget their heritage.
