Snap drop is a web-based airdrop alternative that uses a web RTC PDP session and web sockets to transfer files directly between two machines on the same Wi-Fi network. It has a user interface similar to airdrop and works efficiently across Android, iOS, and desktop devices. Setting up the Snap drop server is easy and fast, and once established, the file transfer occurs at line speed.
