Understanding the Spectrum of Words in the Quran

The Quran discusses two extremes of words - a good word compared to a good tree and a bad or filthy word. These extremes are not the only options; there are words with varying degrees of goodness in between and entirely neutral words. The Quran emphasizes that not all words fall into the categories of being good or bad; there exists a spectrum with neutral and partly good words as well.
