The contrasting visions of the body: sacred festival vs. capitalist factory

The vision of the body as a sacred festival, a reflection of the cosmos, is seen as a threat to centralized religious authority in medieval Catholicism. Failing to contemplate the cosmic body of the self leads to missing out on experiencing the vibrational nature of reality.
