Ten years ago, the expectation was that AI would first target blue-collar labor, then cognitive labor, and finally creative jobs. However, current observations suggest that AI excels at tasks rather than entire jobs, sometimes struggling to maintain coherence. Humans still enhance productivity in their existing jobs, and AI is developing to handle creative work and coding first, other cognitive labor tasks second, and physical labor last.
