Becoming a Creative Expert in a Domain

Child prodigies may feel a loss of specialness as they grow older and others catch up with them; however, the majority of experts in fields like mathematics, literature, and art were not child prodigies. Being a child prodigy is not a prerequisite to becoming a creative expert in a domain, as most prodigies end up being experts in their field rather than domain-changing artists.
