Culture Wars: Centralization v.s. Decentralization and Infinite v.s. Finite Games

The culture wars are driven by the tension between centralization and decentralization as two forms of societal structure, each trying to dominate how things are done. Additionally, the conflict is characterized as a battle for the future direction of humanity: whether to level up into playing an infinite game where all humans are equal and entitled to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, or to descend into finite tribal win-lose dynamics. This distinction recontextualizes opposing groups, like the Proud Boys and Antifa, as playing finite games, whereas stepping up into collectively figuring out the infinite game places them on the same team.
