Mixed reality and the ability to alter your physical environment is exciting. While a zombie game may not be the best example, being able to see nature through windows added to a room with none is a powerful experience. Mixed reality can be seen as a predecessor to AR glasses, and experiences created for mixed reality can hopefully apply once AR glasses are developed. The new generation of headsets is already 40% thinner and a great VR option.
