Anger is Not the Issue in Communication

Media echo chambers lead us to surround ourselves with like-minded individuals which can fuel anger and division. In political communication, the focus should shift from anger to understanding persuasion methods. Research shows that anger is not the problem in communication, as it is not correlated with divorce in married couples. Instead, the key to successful communication lies in addressing the way we interact with each other politically, emphasizing on persuasion rather than confrontation.
