Set a goal to do 30 minutes of a specific action daily, with any progress above zero counting. Use the 1 in 60 rule to make course corrections in annual planning, as deviations compound over time. Conduct monthly check-ins to reassess goals, daily systems alignment, and eliminate inefficiencies. Establish big goals, checkpoint goals, daily systems, and anti-goals for comprehensive planning. Utilize strategies like the 2-day rule, 30 for 30 approach, habit stacking, and minimum viable progress models. Track progress and adjust monthly using the 1 in 60 rule review. Consider group planning for enhanced feedback and preparation for a successful year.
My 2024 Annual Planning Guide includes: (1) a simple goal-setting framework, (2) four system-building mental models, and (3) a strategy for tracking and adjusting throughout the year.
