The upper middle class and higher earners may grumble about expenses, but it doesn't significantly alter their grocery purchasing behavior. Those hit the hardest by increasing costs are individuals at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder. This disparity is evident in rising gas and food prices over the years.
One of the things we rely on is for the companies who make the stuff we need to not stick it to us, the customer. But it’s become painfully clear that’s just what happened during the pandemic and that it’s still happening today. What can we do about it?
