Recent studies have shown that synthetic sunscreens contain chemicals like oxybenzones and elbow benzones that are absorbed into the body at levels surpassing the toxicological concern threshold. This raises concerns about the effects of these chemicals on human health. It is advisable to opt for mineral sunscreens as a safer alternative. While there are many options available for facial sunscreen, finding body sunscreen alternatives is more challenging. Although spray sunscreens are convenient, they may not be the safest option. There is a need for increased awareness about the potential risks of chemical sunscreens and a shift towards adopting safer alternatives for personal health and environmental well-being.
