Tips on Getting Mentors and Sponsors in Your Career
To attract mentors and sponsors in your career, it is important to find someone who can advocate for you in the room where decisions about your career are made. Study your organization to identify the decision-makers and build relationships with them. Make yourself visible to them and have frequent interactions to leave a lasting impression. By doing so, when your name comes up in a room where you're not present, someone who knows you can vouch for your capabilities and qualities. It is easier than you think to attract mentors and sponsors.
