Additionally, legislation should be implemented to remove barriers to housing construction and universities with large endowments should be taxed. Trust-busting measures are also necessary to foster innovation and lower consumer costs. Amazon's dominance in online retail has hindered competition, but in the past, their third-party marketplace fees were much lower, allowing small retailers to thrive.
