"There really was a value of a separate space," he says. "I think the people who struggled with any barriers couldn't separate their personal space from their workspace" He adds that we don't even think twice about spending money on things like cars and parking garages because our work is so far away. But having a place near my home that's not my home, where I can do remote work could make a huge difference to me as an individual.
