The StorySpine is a simple yet effective storytelling technique that sets the stage, describes a problem, provides an intervention, and shows the consequences. It ends with how the world is after the intervention. While it may sound simple, it's actually challenging to execute. To help students, I give an opening prompt, like 'there once was a girl who dreamed of flying.'
