Stating that devices like AirPods, Nest Thermostats, and various products having non-replaceable batteries pose challenges as they cannot be swapped out when they wear out. Drawing an analogy to buying a car with tires welded into the frame, emphasizing that having batteries glued inside products is impractical and unsustainable, creating a bother for consumers who have become accustomed to replacing entire devices when batteries degrade, instead of just changing the battery.

They discussed the latest win here in the US with Oregon passing an electronics Right to Repair law to allow owners the right to get their stuff fixed anywhere as well as limit the anti-repair practices of parts pairing.
