NOTE

Clean Eating is Subjective

Clean eating lacks a universal definition, as it varies widely based on individual beliefs and dietary practices. While the general notion promotes whole, minimally processed foods, research suggests that the quality of food may not significantly impact weight loss when calories and macronutrients are controlled. In a study where two groups maintained a calorie deficit, one consumed over 100 grams of sugar daily while the other had only 10 grams. Despite the differences in sugar intake, both groups experienced identical weight loss and improved blood markers. This challenges the perception that food quality is paramount over caloric intake for effective weight management.
