The Relationship Between Humans and Cells
Humans are explorers of the planet and serve the purpose of bringing information back to basic cellular lines. This view challenges the ego as it suggests that humans are engineered beings created by cells. The realization that humans are just another engineered habitat is unsettling to metaphysicists and religious people, though it does not necessarily contradict religious beliefs. The idea that microbes inadvertently sent out into space by NASA could survive and adapt to extreme conditions presents the possibility that these microbes are clever enough to have engineered humans to explore beyond the planet, which challenges traditional perspectives.
